Minimum charges
Our minimum charge is £100 for sealant work and £165 for pointing and masonry work.
What changes the price
- Mortar type. Lime takes longer and costs more than cement.
- Access. Ground floor work costs less than work at height. Scaffold and access equipment, where needed, are included in your quote as separate items, not in the per m² rate.
- Joint condition. Old sealant or cement bonded into a joint takes longer to remove.
- Listed and conservation work. Material matching can put a job toward the top of the range.
What every quote includes
The full scope of work: removal, preparation, application, tooling and clean-up. We do not apply new mortar over failing joints or new sealant over old.
Payment
Jobs under £500 are generally paid on completion. Deposits on larger jobs are set out in our terms and conditions.
