Yorkshire's sealant & repointing specialists
Northern Seal & Joint fixes the building envelope problems that most tradespeople won't diagnose properly - failed pointing, open sealant joints, perished window seals and deteriorating masonry. We work exclusively on these problems across Bradford, Leeds, Harrogate, Ilkley, Otley, Skipton, Wetherby, Halifax, Saltaire and surrounding areas.
What we fix
Building envelope failures rarely fix themselves. Diagnosing the cause correctly is what stops the problem returning.
How we fix it
We do not carry out general building work, roofing or rendering. We do these things, properly.

See methodDiagnosis first
A crack in a mortar joint or a gap in a sealant bead might look minor. Left alone, it becomes a water pathway into the wall. Over months, that moisture saturates the masonry, tracks into the structure, and starts to affect internal surfaces - damp patches, mould, deteriorating plasterwork.
The cause is almost always fixable cheaply at the early stage. It becomes significantly more expensive once the damage is established.

Inspection
Water and damp problems are often misdiagnosed - or patched without understanding the source. Our Building Leak and Damp Inspection service identifies exactly what is allowing water in, which wall or junction is affected, and what the correct repair route is. You get a clear answer before any repair cost is committed.
